| This section of the site will be completed in stages. I hope to make it as comprehensive as possible but there are bound to be errors or omissions. Please feel free to contact me with any information you may have. One problem is that as the rationalisation of the British jet engine industry has taken place, certain engines have outlived their manufacturers. For example the Viper was made initially by Armstrong Siddeley, Bristol Siddeley and then Rolls Royce. Rather than duplicating data or attempting to split the engine data according to the mark, I have decided to list the engines under the name of the company who first produced that engine. I'll probably get round to producing some sort of cross reference index at a later date. |
